 &lt;b&gt;
  Executive Analyst to Associate Dean for International Programs at College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CA&amp;ES).  Independently respond to and resolve a wide variety of inquiries from international donor agencies, national research and extension programs, and international development and research agencies and act as liaison to faculty, staff and Dean.  (40%)
 &lt;/b&gt;
 &lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Management and supervision*: Lead analyst for all administrative functions for the IPO, International Learning Center and International Visitors’ Program. Oversee internal processes and design and implement in-house policies, procedures and systems, training manuals, special functions in accordance with university, contract and grant guidelines. (25%)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Analysis of international projects: Research global donors, agencies and partners to assist in IPO’s response to complex international proposals. Utilize knowledge of international programs and procedures to make recommendations; assist in the development of new proposals and in strategic planning.&amp;nbsp; Research IPO strategic plan, work with project evaluators to analyze IPO programs and monitor progress. Organize and manage projects across CA&amp;amp;ES departments and faculty to meet international project deadlines. Establish project priorities by defining tasks; document project timelines, assess resource needs, assign tasks and ensure follow-up and timely reporting.(20%)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Assume lead staff role in coordinating IPO-sponsored international conferences and short-term training programs in the U.S. and abroad, assist in identifying program participants and developing technical program, establish and monitor budgets, design and prepare materials, identify need for support staff. (15%)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;*This position does not have hiring authority, and provides recommendations only on hiring and evaluation of IPO employees.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoBodyText"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;u&gt;Requirements:&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;B.S. Degree in
International Management, International Studies, Industrial Management or
related with an emphasis on management or analysis&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;2 years
progressive experience as Management Analyst, Administration Services Manager
or closely related&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;Special
Requirements:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;1.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
Experience
must include2 years demonstrated proficiency in the following:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;·&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Supporting high
level administrators in international agriculture government or nonprofit
entity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;·&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Demonstrated
excellent written and oral communication skills working diplomatically with
team members, stakeholders, international managers and vendors including
maintenance of security of confidential or sensitive information;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;·&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Directing and
reviewing the work of others, ascertaining workloads and directing projects
appropriately.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;2.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
Additional
skills and abilities:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;·&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Ability to make
effective decisions based on extensive knowledge of international institutions,
donors and National Research and Extension Systems (NARES) &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;·&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Organizational
skills to complete projects with competing deadlines, to establish goals and
workload priorities, and the flexibility to address competing demands.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;·&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Ability to effectively
recruit, select, train, evaluate and lead personnel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoFooter"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
