The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences has nearly 72,000 living alumni that we look forward to engaging each year through events, programs, scholarship and various outreach activities. Signature Events
Every year the college presents the Award of Distinction to honor individuals whose contributions and achievements have positively impacted our communities, advanced science and education or enhanced the college’s ability to serve California and the world.
Nominations are now closed for Award of Distinction 2022. This event recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding alumni, young alumni, friends, faculty, emeriti faculty and staff. Please note our criteria has been updated for 2022.
Please save the date for our event which will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Activities and Recreation Center Ballroom. Registration for the event will be available on September 23.

College Celebration
For more than 30 years, CA&ES has enjoyed celebrating the advancement and accomplishments of our college and its impact on agriculture, the environment and social and human needs. College Celebration celebrates all the things that make CA&ES great that includes our programs, staff, faculty, students and the donors that make many of these programs possible.
College Celebration will not take place this year as we are looking to re-envision it for 2023.
Student Scholarship and Fellowship Celebration
We host this event each year to recognize the power that philanthropic gifts have for our students and to recognize the donors that make our scholarships and fellowships possible. During the event, students have the opportunity to meet and network with donors to the college, other student recipients, as well as faculty and staff.

CA&ES will be going on the road throughout 2022 to highlight faculty, as dates and locations are confirmed, they will be listed below:
CA&ES California Tour: Central Valley (April 20, 2022) - We invite all alumni and friends of the college in the California Central Valley to join us for an evening of good company and Aggie camaraderie at 3 Oaks Vineyard in Clovis, CA; enjoy delicious food and beverage while engaging with your fellow Aggies and hearing college updates from Dean Dillard and Assistant Professor of Cooperative Extension in soil-plant-water relations and deficit irrigation Mallika Nocco of the Conservation Irrigation Lab. Dr. Nocco just recently launched season 3 of her acclaimed podcast Water Talk which will focus on the California drought.
