Bio
Dixit Poudel is an Agricultural and Resource Economist working within the Office of Global Engagement. His research centers on trade, innovation, and international development, employing econometric and causal inference methods to analyze agriculture, livestock, and food systems.
He has experience as an Economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and previously served as an Instructor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Georgia.
His current work focuses on evaluating livestock innovations, policy design, and scaling strategies using economic analysis across countries.
