Aggie Ambassadors is both a club and a class that focuses on community, leadership, and outreach. Aggie Ambassadors members have the chance to participate in several diverse opportunities. From weekly meetings that range from faculty speakers, facility field trips, and leadership workshops to social events to help meet new people, to participating in outreach events like Dean’s Office quarterly events, college fairs, State FFA Leadership conference, and much much more. Aggie Ambassadors have time and space built into their academic schedule to learn about themselves and their skillset, network both on and off campus, and learn about others. Aggie Ambassadors compliments the CA&ES mission through concerted efforts to develop leadership skills like communication, problem solving, and decision making. Faculty speakers, facility tours, and assignments provide students the opportunity to reflect on their experience at UC Davis and their field of study to prepare them to be leaders in their future profession.
