Food Science

Engage in innovative approaches to grow, process, package, store and distribute food while building scientific and technical skills to enhance convenience, nutrition, safety, stability, sustainability, taste and value of foods. This Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)-approved program provides training in food chemistry, food processing, food microbiology and sensory science.
